Treat yourself to a Friday night at the Rabbi's house. We start with Kabbalat Shabbat, meditation and songs to lift our spirits, and then proceed to the evening service. After this we share a celebratory pot-luck vegetarian meal with good conversation and good food. We usually end the evening by singing shabbat zimrot, songs of joy and praise.
No knowledge of Hebrew is required. Please DO bring a yummie vegetarian dish to share for the pot-luck meal. These shabbats at the Rabbi's house are open to all and a great place to meet new people and make new friends.
