Our very own Maya Buffett-Davis will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah by Rabbi Michael Lerner on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010.  Services will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley at 1 Lawson Lane in Kensington at 10:00 am.  Following the service there will be a luncheon and Israeli dancing accompanied by Achi Ben Shalom.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you'll be able to come by sending an email to mayasmitzvah1@sbcglobal.net and bring a yummy vegetarian dish.  Maya loves Mediterranean food and kugel.
